Hermès — Internal Events Assistant internship in Paris. 6-month full-time placement starting Sept 2026 in Internal Communications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Internal Animation and communications teams in planning and delivering central and local internal events.
- Schedule and attend project meetings and site visits; prepare briefs and follow-up notes.
- Coordinate with internal departments (scenography, production, publishing, performing arts, security, IT) and external suppliers (venues, caterers, host agencies) to secure services and ensure alignment.
- Prepare mailings and physical dispatches: data entry, envelope stuffing and distribution preparation.
- Provide on‑site logistical support and operational assistance during events (Day‑J).
- Contribute to the enrichment and maintenance of an events database: research innovations and new venues, gather documentation and contact details, and build a qualified pool of partner suppliers.
- Propose improvements and support the implementation of the events action plan through market watch and trend monitoring.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business, communications or hospitality school (Bac+4 / Bac+5 level).
- Previous internship or first experience in event project management; beginners accepted.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines.
- Curiosity, rigor, flexibility and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong service orientation and an enthusiastic, client-focused attitude.
Skills
Experience
Some previous experience in event project management is expected; prior internships or project work in events, corporate communications or hospitality are acceptable. The role is open to early-career candidates and current master-level students.
Education
Enrolment in a Master’s-level programme (Bac+4/ Bac+5) in business, communications, hospitality management or equivalent.
