Hermès seeks an Internal Control Specialist in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais to lead risk management and internal control deployment across Finance Services.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify and formalize key risks with operational leaders and divisional management, establishing appropriate control mechanisms
  • Participate in risk mapping initiatives and adapt internal control organization accordingly
  • Define and implement annual internal control plans with systematic monitoring and effectiveness evaluation
  • Evaluate control device efficiency through self-assessment campaigns, audits, and corrective action tracking
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by providing risk perspective on compliance, non-financial reporting, and transformation projects
  • Enhance process reliability and operational security through evolution of local control frameworks, procedures, and best practices
  • Serve as cross-functional internal control reference point, coordinating with divisional stakeholders and relevant parties
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose optimization strategies
  • Integrate internal control considerations from project initiation phase onwards
  • Develop and apply risk analysis methodologies tailored to project requirements
  • Define control devices suited to new processes and challenge organizational choices against risk criteria
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with internal standards
  • Train and support operational teams in internal control practices
  • Promote best practices and strengthen risk culture organization-wide

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree +5 (Grande École business school, engineering school, or university)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or internal control
  • Methodical approach with strong organizational and autonomous work habits
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, pedagogical ability, and diplomatic communication style
  • Proactive mindset with continuous improvement orientation
  • Strong project management appetite and capability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; data analysis tools (Power BI) experience valued
  • Meticulous attention to detail with ability to conduct in-depth analysis with curiosity and initiative
  • Business-level English proficiency
