Hermès Paris seeks an Internal Audit Manager for fixed-term contract. Lead audit missions, risk management, and internal control activities across global operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audit missions spanning distribution, production, transverse functions, and holding company activities, typically involving teams of 2–4 auditors over two-week engagements
- Formulate operationally applicable recommendations directly implementable by business stakeholders
- Liaise with specialist departments (HR, Insurance, Real Estate, Security, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing) to identify risks and develop tailored recommendations
- Build and maintain a network of internal contacts through diplomatic engagement and collaborative consultation
- Participate in risk mapping initiatives across subsidiaries and business lines
- Provide independent, well-reasoned assessments on audit and risk matters
- Support the Internal Control Animation function by updating control frameworks, procedures, and self-assessment questionnaires
- Operationally track specific risks and associated action plans in coordination with relevant business divisions
Qualifications
- Fluent professional English (written and oral)
- Minimum seven years of professional experience in audit, risk, or internal control
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Active listening, diplomacy, flexibility, and pedagogical approach to stakeholder engagement
- Analytical and synthetic thinking with rigorous attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset and capacity for collective intelligence
- Comfort navigating operational business issues and field-level realities
Skills
Experience
Minimum seven years of professional experience in internal audit, risk management, internal control, or a closely related governance discipline, ideally within a multinational organization or matrix environment.
Education
University degree in business administration, finance, accounting, law, or a related field; professional auditing qualifications (CIA, CISA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
