Hermès International — Paris: Intellectual Property Lawyer apprenticeship (Master 2) based in Paris 8ème, one‑year contract starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support validation and legal clearance of artistic, cultural and event projects from an intellectual property perspective.
- Draft, negotiate and validate IP assignment and license agreements, event contracts and other IP-related documentation.
- Prepare and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts (sponsorship/partnership, service agreements, procurement, manufacturing, IT contracts).
- Conduct prior‑art and ownership searches, and perform legal research and case‑law monitoring in intellectual property and business law.
- Advise operational teams on IP and contractual matters, ensuring confidentiality and alignment with corporate strategy.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or holder of a Master 2 (third cycle) in Intellectual Property / NTIC or equivalent.
- Ideally minimum six months’ prior internship experience in‑house or in a law firm on IP and contract matters (beginners accepted).
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Highly organized, pragmatic, reactive and able to work both collaboratively and autonomously while respecting strict confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and legal research databases.

Experience
Candidates should be enrolled in or recently completed a Master 2 in Intellectual Property/NTIC. The role preferably requires at least six months’ internship experience in a corporate legal department and/or law firm with exposure to IP and contract work, although beginners are accepted for apprenticeship.

Master 2 (or enrolled in Master 2) in Intellectual Property / NTIC or equivalent.
