Hermès — Paris: Institutional Communications Project Manager to lead brand advertising campaigns and agency partnerships (full-time).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define target audiences and campaign objectives across user journeys, and translate strategic orientations into coherent institutional messages aligned with product categories and corporate priorities.
  • Lead the development and production of institutional advertising campaigns (seasonal and calendar-driven) in partnership with the agency (Publicis & Nous) and with Hermès subsidiaries, ensuring fidelity to the strategic brief and creative idea.
  • Own agency relationship management: define annual scope of work, planning, deliverables and budgets; organise collaborative touchpoints between in-house creatives and agency teams; conduct performance reviews and escalate issues to N+1 when required.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional deployment with Press, Media & Social, E‑commerce teams and international communications offices to determine activation devices, media choices and budget optimisation.
  • Specify required creative assets, manage production schedules, supervise shoots and ensure secure handling, transport and tracking of objects in collaboration with transport, insurance, security and risk teams.
  • Monitor campaign reporting, extract learnings with Media & Social teams and adjust message architecture or activations as needed.
  • Foster a positive, transversal team dynamic; recruit and line‑manage an intern and promote internal sharing of institutional campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum six years’ experience in brand communications, advertising or agency-side campaign management, preferably within luxury or premium sectors.
  • Fluency in English (indispensable).
  • Strong organisational rigor with proven experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated strategic judgement and understanding of media ecosystems and consumer journeys.
  • Artistic sensitivity, curiosity and a strong sense of editorial and visual quality.
  • Expertise in graphic production processes and practical production constraints.
  • Diplomacy, flexibility and agility in decision-making and stakeholder management.
  • Experience supervising junior staff or interns.

Experience
