Hermès seeks an Infrastructure and New Works Project Engineer in Pierre-Bénite, France. Lead technical projects, decarbonization, and facility modernization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure and building renovation projects with emphasis on HVAC, air treatment, and climate control systems
- Develop and oversee decarbonization projects for textile division infrastructure
- Conceptualize and advance new building construction projects
- Coordinate construction activities in co-occupancy with production operations to ensure seamless parallel execution
- Accompany facility handovers and anticipate operational readiness of new installations
- Track and manage project budgets and contingencies
- Collaborate with external engineering firms and technical consultancies on project conception
- Participate in or lead specifications and technical design documentation for engineering firms
- Engage with procurement services during vendor consultation and selection processes to ensure group compliance
- Conduct technical design reviews and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial infrastructure or project management
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for building plans and modifications
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in HVAC systems, electrical systems, steam production, and structural calculations
- Strong technical writing capabilities for specifications and design documentation
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial environments and production equipment integration
- Familiarity with 3D design tools (Revit or SolidWorks) and project planning software (MS Project)

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial infrastructure, building projects, or related engineering disciplines. Demonstrated experience managing technical specifications, liaising with engineering consultancies, and coordinating construction activities within active production environments.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent engineering qualification.
