Industrialisation Project Manager role at luxury metalwork supplier in Châtillon-le-Duc, France. CDD September 2026–December 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Pilot industrialisation projects and manage a portfolio of approximately 15 new product projects aligned with collection cycles (six-month rhythm)
- Execute project plans whilst maintaining timelines, resource allocation, process robustness, and product profitability
- Serve as primary technical liaison with clients regarding technical and strategic choices
- Realise industrialisation of metallic components through CAD design, planning, manufacturing procedures, and routing specifications
- Define and optimise fabrication processes for precision metalwork
- Resolve technical challenges encountered on production floor
- Provide technical support to production teams
- Train and mentor artisans engaged on projects
Qualifications
- Technical training in mechanical engineering or industrialisation (Bachelor's degree level, BAC+3 to BAC+5)
- Proven experience in industrial project management
- Mastery of technical drawing and industrial design reading
- Expert knowledge of machining processes (mandatory), polishing, and electroplating
- Foundational understanding of production costs, quality management, and supply chain
- Working knowledge of metrology and CAD software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to work methodically under pressure
- Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Leadership, communication, integrity, and collaborative team orientation
Skills
Experience
Confirmed experience in industrial project management and direction within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in coordinating product industrialisation, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing metalworking processes from design phase through production launch.
Education
Technical qualification in mechanical engineering, industrialisation, or equivalent discipline at Bachelor's level or above (BAC+3 to BAC+5).
