Hermès Cuirs Précieux seeks Industrial Procurement Manager (8+ months CDD) in Pantin, France to oversee chemical and equipment sourcing across seven tanneries.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Consolidate chemical product consumption and pricing across all seven group tanneries, including tanning agents, dyes, finishing products, and water treatment chemicals
  • Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators and track corrective actions, particularly regarding quality non-conformities and logistics
  • Secure supply chain continuity and mitigate procurement risks
  • Track international commodity and chemical market developments to enable proactive anticipation strategies
  • Monitor and forecast chemical product inflation in close collaboration with management accounting
  • Support and negotiate CAPEX investments and related contract agreements
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders (site directors, production managers, HSE/sustainability leads, quality managers, control managers, legal and industrial leadership) and external partners (suppliers, industry stakeholders)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (bac+5) in engineering or business
  • Minimum one successful prior experience in industrial procurement, preferably in chemical products and/or industrial equipment
  • Practical experience in supplier negotiations and contract management
  • Fluent professional English (spoken, written, and reading)
