Role & Responsibilities

• Consolidate multi‑site purchasing data and perform spend analysis to categorise indirect spend across the group.
• Design and implement an indirect procurement strategy, including supplier panel rationalisation and onboarding of approved suppliers.
• Contractualise conditions with suppliers and negotiate purchasing terms (price, lead time, quality).
• Collaborate with site buyers, manufacturing poles and cross‑functional teams to capture and validate internal requirements.
• Evaluate purchase requests and propose pragmatic sourcing solutions aligned with operational needs.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance monitoring; define and deploy KPIs and follow‑up indicators.
• Maintain and update procurement conditions in the group's systems and ensure accurate data governance.
• Propose continuous improvement actions to optimise cost, quality and service levels, and conduct market and innovation watch in indirect procurement.
• Occasional travel to production sites to align sourcing activities and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's programme or engineering degree specialising in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent (apprenticeship contract).
• Strong analytical rigour with capacity for spend analysis and data consolidation.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• High standards of integrity, discretion and crisis‑appropriate communication.
• Interest and basic knowledge of supplier CSR / responsible sourcing principles.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Open to candidates with little or no professional experience; suitable for students seeking an apprenticeship in procurement or supply chain (beginners accepted).

Education

Enrolled in a Master's degree or engineering programme in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline (apprenticeship contract).
