Hermès seeks In Store Visual Merchandiser for Rome boutique. Lead visual displays, seasonal installations, and brand aesthetics across Italy, Greece, and France locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Hermès visual merchandising directives across store layout, product displays, graphics, and visual animations in strict accordance with corporate image standards
- Adapt and interpret headquarters visual merchandising guidelines and inspirational references to align with the boutique's assortment and business requirements
- Plan and execute seasonal product assortment strategies, window dressing installations, and ad hoc event displays to drive sales and promote merchandise sell-through
- Monitor in-stock product levels and communicate replenishment priorities to store management, department managers, and retail merchandising teams
- Maintain visual standards throughout the store environment, including regular audits of visual props and display elements to ensure compliance with brand aesthetics
- Collaborate with the Communication Department to develop and install in-store activations aligned with the visual merchandising calendar
- Share photo documentation and visual merchandising updates with the Visual Merchandising Manager on a regular basis
- Provide training and guidance to store colleagues on visual merchandising standards and visual guidelines
- Research and evaluate current market trends in visual merchandising to enhance and innovate display aesthetics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in art, design, fashion, visual merchandising, or related discipline
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages preferred
- Strong professional background in visual merchandising roles within retail boutiques or headquarters environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard IT tools
- Demonstrated ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, primarily within Italy, Greece, and France
- Flexibility to accommodate schedules including evening shifts, holiday work, and special events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service orientation
- Team player mentality with ability to work autonomously and build collaborative relationships
- Demonstrated aesthetic sense, professionalism, enthusiasm, and dynamism

Strong professional background in visual merchandising positions within retail boutiques and/or headquarters offices, with demonstrated ability to implement complex visual directives and manage multiple projects simultaneously across multiple locations.
Education
Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a focus on art, design, fashion, or visual merchandising.
