Role & Responsibilities

  • Conceive and deliver dynamic, commerce‑driven in‑store and window displays in line with Hermès visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and the monthly VM schedule.
  • Produce a monthly VM plan tailored to the Berlin KuDamm store, forecasting resource needs for rotations, launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Execute and maintain all PLV (point‑of‑sale materials), ensuring correct storage, upkeep and quarterly audits; report issues to Head of VM.
  • Organise and optimise secondary displays (drawers, counters, concealed shelving) to streamline product presentation and support sales.
  • Collaborate with Store Management, department managers, stock teams and métier partners to align VM activity with commercial objectives and stock realities.
  • Support Head of VM on special events, store openings and VM activations, including windows set‑up and event installation.
  • Monitor and report VM outcomes weekly to the Head of VM, linking display changes to commercial performance and recommending corrective actions.
  • Coach and train store teams on VM standards, daily maintenance, replenishment routines and execution of VM essentials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably within the luxury sector and in flagship or high‑traffic stores.
  • Proven people management experience with ability to train, influence and elevate store teams' VM capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, fashion, visual merchandising, retail management, economics or a related discipline; Master’s degree advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience translating KPIs into visual and operational solutions.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; German and/or French language skills are a plus.

Experience
