HR Specialist (Fixed-term) – Hermès, Montereau Fault Yonne. Support HR operations, recruitment, and employee development in an artisan manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Track apprentice candidate applications and selection processes including group information sessions, aptitude testing, assessment days, and cross-functional interviews in partnership with Hermès School of Crafts
  • Manage administrative records for apprentices throughout their programme lifecycle
  • Execute pre-boarding procedures including employment contract drafting and personnel file preparation
  • Monitor new employee integration and probationary periods in coordination with line managers
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives including job fairs, recruitment exhibitions, and local community events
  • Oversee payroll variables and badge time-tracking corrections in liaison with the Payroll department
  • Configure access badges for personnel
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding personnel administration matters such as sick leave and maternity cover
  • Draft HR documentation including employment certificates and official correspondence
  • Maintain HR dashboards tracking personnel roster, attendance records, and absences
  • Schedule and coordinate occupational health visits with the Works Medical Service
  • Support apprentice coaching and development programmes on an individual and collective basis
  • Develop and deploy training plans with Campus Hermès
  • Manage logistics for locally-delivered training programmes

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bac+3 qualification with specialization in Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and labour rights
  • Proficiency with standard office software and business applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated proximity to teams, active listening ability, service orientation, and availability
  • Impeccable ethical standards, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills, methodical approach, rigour, and adaptability
  • Demonstrated interest in on-site fieldwork and manufacturing environments
