Hermès Middle East seeks an HR Business Partner at Dubai Mall, UAE — employee relations-focused HRBP for luxury retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the trusted employee relations partner for Dubai Mall staff and leadership, addressing concerns and providing pragmatic, compliant advice.
- Lead objective workplace investigations, disciplinaries and grievance processes while ensuring confidentiality, procedural fairness and consistent outcomes.
- Mediate interpersonal and team conflicts, promoting early intervention and constructive resolution to protect engagement and productivity.
- Advise and partner with Dubai Mall leadership on sensitive cases, terminations and change communications, balancing commercial needs and people risk.
- Support performance management and talent processes including goal-setting cycles, reviews, calibration and manager coaching.
- Prepare and deliver workforce planning inputs, reward documentation and people-impact summaries to support HRBP Middle East and senior stakeholders.
- Track and report HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement, ER cases), identify trends and escalate concerns to regional HR leadership.
- Ensure HR operations and decisions comply with UAE labour law, internal policies and governance standards; partner with HR operations, compensation, learning and TA teams.
- Contribute to policy review and continuous improvement; communicate policy changes and best practice across the Dubai Mall population.
- Design and run regional listening sessions and engagement initiatives to measure sentiment and propose targeted wellbeing and retention actions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years' experience in an HRBP or employee relations role, preferably within retail or luxury retail environments.
- Proven track record leading workplace investigations, disciplinaries and grievance resolution with rigour and impartiality.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, regional employment regulations and HR best practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to craft clear, sensitive communications to varied audiences.
- High level of confidentiality, emotional intelligence and professional discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills with store leadership and senior HR partners.

Experience
Minimum six years' professional experience as an HR Business Partner or Employee Relations specialist, with demonstrable experience conducting investigations, advising on disciplinary actions and partnering with store or retail leadership in a high-touch environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
