Hermès Paris seeks a Housekeeping & Facilities Manager to supervise cleaning and waste operations across luxury boutiques and office spaces in the 8th arrondissement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise Hermès staff overseeing cleaning and waste management operations; conduct weekly individual meetings and annual performance reviews
- Monitor contractor performance across all assigned sites through monthly quality audits and operational contract management in collaboration with procurement
- Coordinate cleaning and logistics for major company events (Annual General Meetings, seasonal previews) including needs assessment and on-site quality control
- Deploy and manage cleaning service contracts at new locations, including procurement participation, equipment ordering, and staff scheduling
- Maintain accurate activity reporting and quality control of contractor submissions; alert management to irregularities and performance gaps
- Manage budget tracking, requisition processing, and service deadline monitoring across the facilities portfolio
- Propose technological innovations and workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing housekeeping or facilities teams in a luxury or corporate environment
- Strong vendor and contract management expertise
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate large-scale events and special projects
- Proficiency with budget tracking and operational reporting
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, waste management, and facility maintenance protocols
Skills
Experience
Several years of experience in facilities management, housekeeping operations, or a related supervisory role, preferably in a luxury retail or hospitality setting.
Education
Secondary education (Baccalauréat or equivalent) minimum; training or certification in facilities management, cleaning standards, or environmental management preferred.
