Hermès seeks a Temporary Seasonal Hospitality Support Associate for its Washington, D.C. boutique, providing clerical and client-facing support across front- and back-of-house operations. The role begins in November and runs through December 31; the pay range is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with the actual rate based on the job, location, and individual experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients, identify their needs, and direct or escort them to the appropriate floor or sales associate.
- Support beverage service in line with brand standards and coordinate with management to keep beverage supplies stocked.
- Provide hospitable services to clients, including bringing coloring books to children.
- Support the sales team by hanging merchandise, returning items to the sales floor, retrieving stock, and physically preparing the stockroom.
- Organize and prioritize the workstation and sales floor; keep bags, boxes, note cards, ribbons, stationery, and similar supplies stocked; and maintain merchandise presentation standards by straightening and replenishing items.
- Provide clerical support for front- and back-of-house boutique operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
