Hermès Middle East seeks Head of Hard Luxury at The Dubai Mall — lead watches & jewellery sales, team and operations in Dubai.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager to define and execute sales strategy for assigned hard-luxury métiers (watches, jewellery/timepieces) and achieve departmental sales targets.
- Provide visible, active managerial presence on the sales floor (manager-on-duty coverage) and lead by example to deliver Hermès service standards.
- Recruit, coach and develop the hard-luxury team: conduct interviews, deliver training, run morning briefs, perform monthly touch-bases and annual performance appraisals.
- Identify talent, design and implement development or improvement plans, and motivate teams to cultivate discipline, dedication and loyalty.
- Drive client development through CRM standards: ensure associate compliance, maximise client capture quality and manage special orders and deliveries.
- Oversee operational compliance: communicate policies, complete accurate Daily Sales Reports with qualitative feedback, and manage schedules, attendance and leave in partnership with HR and Sales & Service Support.
- Own product management for assigned catégories: collaborate with Visual Merchandising, maintain stock levels, monitor MOS and sell-through, and provide market updates and buying advice to the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' professional experience, with demonstrable experience in luxury retail; prior people management in a luxury retail environment is essential.
- At least 4 years' experience in retail or related operational roles with responsibility for sales targets and team leadership.
- Proven ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations and plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with capacity to make critical client and business decisions during senior leadership visits.

Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including significant tenure in luxury retail; prior management experience overseeing sales teams and departmental P&L in a premium store environment is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, retail management, hospitality, or a related discipline.
