Hermès seeks a Group Security Expert in Paris to lead global risk management and security operations across all entities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and anticipate risks and threats affecting Group operations across more than 50 countries
- Conduct security diagnostics and develop customized security concepts for real-estate, logistics, and event projects
- Provide strategic guidance on protection measures for production facilities, retail locations, and corporate events
- Coordinate crisis management responses and incident procedures
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement continuous improvements to security protocols
- Promote and embed security awareness and best practices throughout the organization
- Serve as primary liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders on security matters
- Conduct regular site visits across France and international locations to assess operational security needs
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of demonstrated experience in security and safety, preferably in an international environment
- Fluent English proficiency required
- Strong knowledge of the luxury sector
- Proven analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Crisis management experience
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle sensitive and complex situations
Skills
Experience
6–10 years of professional experience in security and safety operations, ideally acquired within an international corporate or luxury goods environment. Prior exposure to multi-site security coordination, real-estate security planning, or event security strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in security studies, risk management, business administration, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional certifications in security management (e.g., PSA Level 3, OSCP, or equivalent).
