Hermès International in Paris seeks a Group Consolidation Accountant (CDI) to prepare consolidated financial statements and manage IFRS reporting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate the Group’s financial statements in compliance with Group accounting policies and applicable standards.
- Manage recurring consolidation cycles (March, May, June, September, November, December) and participate in prospective cycles (3‑year plan, budget, reforecast).
- Own cross-cutting consolidation topics such as lease accounting (IFRS 16), pension obligations and intercompany reconciliations throughout the consolidation cycle.
- Draft and distribute closing instructions and support subsidiaries during the reporting phase; validate and consolidate received reporting packs.
- Produce notes and disclosures for the consolidated financial statements and perform analytical reviews.
- Maintain the relationship with statutory auditors and respond to audit requests relating to consolidated reporting.
- Implement regulatory and accounting standard changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including optimisation of the SAP FC consolidation tool.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Universal Registration Document.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (e.g., Master CCA, ESC).
- DSCG or DEC qualification obtained or in progress preferred; position may accommodate a year in‑company for professional accounting training.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, accounting firm or in‑house consolidation department (alternance accepted).
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with consolidation tools (SAP FC preferred).
- High standards of quality and rigor, strong organisational and analytical skills, team orientation and good interpersonal abilities.

Minimum three years’ relevant experience in audit, public accounting or a corporate consolidation function, with hands‑on exposure to consolidation cycles, intercompany eliminations and IFRS topics.
Education
Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance (Bac+5) such as Master CCA, ESC or equivalent; DSCG or DEC qualification preferred or in progress.
