Greeter position at Hermès Brussels on a part-time, temporary contract. Welcoming and client engagement role in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the client's first point of contact upon entry, conveying warmth, courtesy, elegance and simplicity while establishing a welcoming impression of the brand
  • Greet and welcome clients as they enter and exit the store, maintaining an attentive and hospitable demeanor at all times
  • Manage store traffic flow by assessing client needs, coordinating with available sales associates, and strategically matching clients to appropriate team members
  • Utilize in-store systems and tools—both physical and digital—to respond to client inquiries and coordinate appointment scheduling
  • Maintain the entrance and welcoming areas in impeccable condition, both inside and outside the store
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure the safety and comfort of all clients and staff members

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing retail environment, preferably with exposure to a diverse, international clientele
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an exquisite sense of hospitality
  • Genuine warmth, openness, and friendliness combined with composure in high-traffic situations
  • Diplomatic and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions and challenges
  • Demonstrated empathy for varying customer types and circumstances
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch proficiency is advantageous
