Role & Responsibilities
- Execute final finishing operations on luxury women’s and men’s footwear, including trimming, application of cleaning insoles, internal and external cleaning, and complete boxing/packaging.
- Ensure all finished product meets Hermès quality standards and specifications; perform detailed visual and tactile inspections and report non‑conformities.
- Maintain an organised, efficient workstation and follow production schedules to meet assigned throughput targets.
- Collaborate closely with quality control, prototyping and manufacturing colleagues to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finishing techniques, tooling and packaging processes to enhance product consistency and presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ demonstrated experience in footwear finishing within luxury or high‑end footwear manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in multiple finishing operations (trimming, insole application, internal/external cleaning, final packaging).
- Strong attention to detail with an uncompromising orientation to quality and product aesthetics.
- Good organisational skills, proactivity and problem‑solving aptitude.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Experience
Minimum six years of hands‑on experience in footwear finishing roles within luxury footwear production environments or high‑end manufactories.
Education
Vocational qualification in footwear manufacture, leathercraft or a related artisanal discipline preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted.

The successful candidate will be located in Busto Garolfo, Lombardy, Italy, with easy access to Milan.
