Hermès is seeking a Footwear Development Manager to lead product and materials development project managers, set the team’s strategy and oversee prototypes from development through industrialization. The role is full-time on a permanent contract, based in Pantin, with regular travel to Italy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead product and materials development project managers.
- Establish an organization suited to the business's needs.
- Set team objectives and support team members' development.
- Develop the development and industrialization strategy.
- Ensure prototypes meet economic, quality and stylistic requirements.
- Organize kick-off meetings with all stakeholders.
- Participate in the price approval process with the Purchasing team.

- Integrate sustainable materials into development projects.
- Maintain active technology and competitor monitoring.

- Solid experience within a development team and strong product sensitivity.
- Proficiency in Excel, PLM and PDM.
- Team spirit, listening skills and analytical ability.
- Ability to share expertise while maintaining a broad, exacting perspective.
