Role & Responsibilities
- Plan daily activities, set objectives and assign tasks for the sales floor and specific departments.
- Observe the team on the floor and deliver continuous coaching and feedback to support professional development.
- Lead recruitment activities in partnership with store leadership and HR, conduct inductions and ensure full integration of new hires.
- Define individual development objectives, conduct annual performance appraisals and propose people development plans.
- Drive departmental sales targets by developing business strategies and action plans; monitor KPIs and adapt plans accordingly.
- Foster a client culture and support clienteling initiatives to increase loyalty; coach the team on client discovery and data quality in line with privacy rules.
- Support the team in complex sales and complaint resolution; plan and lead morning briefings to align activity.
- Advise on merchandising and buying for assigned departments based on sales performance, market trends and client feedback.
- Collaborate with operations and visual merchandising to optimise in-store processes, floor coverage and the overall client experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in high-end fashion or luxury retail, with a strong management background.
- Fluent Italian and very good command of English; knowledge of French or an additional language advantageous.
- Proven leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a diverse retail team.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen: target-setting, KPI analysis and local business development.
- Professional presentation and strict adherence to procedures and brand standards.
- Organised, resilient, with excellent interpersonal and customer-service orientation.
Skills
Experience
At least five years of progressive experience in luxury fashion or high-end retail, ideally including international boutique management or department leadership.
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary qualification in business, retail management, hospitality or fashion is advantageous.
