Hermès seeks a Floor Director in Miami to lead boutique sales, merchandising and team performance for Hermès of Paris.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership on the selling floor: supervise, coach, mentor and develop selling teams while modelling exemplary client service.
  • Maintain a constant floor presence and act as a partner to all store departments; represent store leadership in the absence of the Managing Director.
  • Deliver Métier-specific merchandising and inventory oversight for assigned floors; prepare for and participate in bi‑annual podium buys and collaborate with Merchants and Operations on stock allocation.
  • Achieve and manage floor and group sales targets, payroll adherence and P&L responsibilities; design measurable selling campaigns, contests and incremental business initiatives.
  • Analyse sales performance and individual productivity; conduct monthly one-to-one productivity meetings, write and deliver annual performance appraisals and address performance issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present weekly business reports and leadership updates including sales-to-plan, team highlights and operational issues; translate analysis into tactical floor strategies.
  • Own cycle counts and inventory reconciliation in partnership with Operations; ensure adherence to shrinkage and loss prevention objectives.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and maintained across areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinate across support teams (security, operations) to secure compliance with company policy and to drive store priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of prior store management experience or flagship Assistant Store Manager experience.
  • Demonstrable buying or merchandise allocation experience relative to floor responsibility; ability to prepare for and contribute to bi‑annual buying.
  • Proven experience managing multi‑person teams and reporting to executive and merchant stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel internationally (3–5 weeks annually to Paris).
  • Professional presence with strong presentation skills and experience engaging with senior executives and merchant teams.
  • Ability to manage budgets, payroll, shrinkage and make decisive operational decisions.

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 99155.47 to USD 117183.73 per annum.
