Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic inspections of finished leather products to verify conformity with technical specifications, quality standards and brand aesthetics.
• Measure, test and record dimensional, functional and cosmetic attributes using standard inspection tools; classify and document defects according to established criteria.
• Raise, track and report non-conformances; initiate corrective actions and follow through with production, workshops and suppliers to closure.
• Produce clear inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records and sample libraries for traceability and audit purposes.
• Participate in internal quality audits, product trials and production start-ups; contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce defect rates.
• Maintain calibration and readiness of inspection instruments and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in finished‑goods inspection or quality control, preferably within luxury leather goods, footwear or accessories.
• Practical knowledge of leather materials, trims and assembly processes, with an eye for colour, surface finish and construction defects.
• Ability to read technical drawings and product specifications and to apply measurement tolerances consistently.
• Good organisational skills, precise written reporting and the ability to coordinate corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in quality control or finished-goods inspection, ideally in a luxury leather‑goods or accessories manufacturing environment.

Education

Technical diploma or vocational qualification in quality management, leather technology, industrial production or equivalent practical experience.
