Hermès Maison seeks a Financial Controller for a 12-month contract in Pantin, France. Manage budgets, close cycles, and financial reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to quarterly financial closes, reforecasts, and the annual budget for the Maison Division
- Analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and escalate findings to stakeholders
- Consolidate and report data using group financial systems (Magnitude)
- Build and optimize departmental expense tracking dashboards and reporting tools
- Deliver monthly performance indicators and metrics to operational teams
- Execute special studies and ad hoc analyses as requested by executive leadership
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel and financial information systems
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems (SAP, M3) or query tools (TM1, Cognos)
- Demonstrated synthesis capability and stakeholder relationship skills
- Operational and field-oriented approach to financial analysis
- Ability to manage multiple rhythms—routine recurring tasks and one-off projects
