Hermès is seeking a Finance Systems Functional Analyst for its Finance IT support team in Pantin, on a full-time, permanent contract. The role covers Finance to Manage processes across finance applications, indirect purchasing and EPM, working with finance teams, service providers and IT stakeholders; occasional travel in France and abroad may be required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze existing finance processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational support.
- Propose solutions to simplify, automate and secure accounting activities, including general ledger, account reconciliations, fixed assets, treasury transaction integration and tax.
- Gather, question and assess functional requirements for the Finance to Manage (FTM) scope.
- Help prioritize enhancement requests according to business value, criticality and complexity.
- Frame requirements with and challenge service providers.
- Validate technical solutions proposed by maintenance teams and ensure their quality and alignment with the Hermès CORE model and finance business needs.
- Contribute to industrializing regression testing (TNR) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Implement defined processes and procedures to ensure client satisfaction.
- Support the go-live of new projects that affect finance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing existing processes, and develop and implement ITIL best practices.
- Document support knowledge by creating procedures and FAQs from handled client requests; maintain support documentation for the assigned scope.
- Monitor service providers’ functional and technical knowledge levels and identify training needs for the Finance project management team (MOA).
- Contribute to user-community engagement by sharing knowledge gained from handled requests.
- Escalate functional or technical blockers within the assigned scope.
Qualifications
- Bac +4/5-level initial education.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Finance IT, with expertise in FTM or RTR.
- At least one successful experience with SAP Finance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities and effective prioritization skills.
- Written and spoken English proficiency.
- Knowledge of ITIL standards is a plus.
