Hermès internship: Management Control & Internal Audit Assistant, Pantin. Finance & compliance role in luxury fashion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial closures and reconciliations
- Update and validate cost price calculations and inventory valuations
- Analyze and correct negative stock balances and irregular inventory movements
- Perform inventory transfers between raw materials and finished goods
- Prepare and validate closing statements and reconciliation schedules
- Process and track press releases, distributor, and sales billings
- Support physical inventory preparations and variance analysis
- Execute recurring control procedures on key processes to ensure compliance with Group policies, regulations (Sapin II, GDPR, AGEC Law), and financial controls
- Deploy operational procedures and recommend automation opportunities for routine controls
- Participate in internal control and compliance campaigns led by the Audit and Risk Management and Legal Departments
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school, university, or equivalent program with specialization in finance, audit, or accounting
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Strong analytical capability and critical thinking
- Meticulous attention to detail and high reliability standards
- Demonstrated autonomy, organizational discipline, and confidentiality awareness
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
