Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day finance operations and collaborate closely with the finance team on transactional and routine accounting duties.
- Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of financial reports for management.
- Conduct financial analysis to inform business development initiatives and management decision-making.
- Prepare clear PowerPoint presentations and financial pack materials for internal stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain and improve financial templates to streamline reporting and analysis.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects including internal control analysis and special financial assignments.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
- Available to work in-office Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week for a fixed-term 6-month contract (start date: 2026-07-06).
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365; demonstrable Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with PowerPoint and presentation preparation.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SAP is an asset.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player; able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Open to beginners — prior professional experience in finance is not required.

Entry-level — suitable for students or recent graduates. Previous internship or coursework in accounting/finance is beneficial but not required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (in progress or recently completed).

The base compensation for this position is CAD 25 per hour.
