The Finance Business Analyst supports financial performance monitoring, forecasting and commercial activity across Hermès’ Travel Retail division, covering Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. The role produces reporting and analysis, supports budgeting and sales forecasts, monitors inventory and pricing, and collaborates with Finance and Commercial teams. Permanent, full-time position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly wholesale revenue reports for the division.
  • Track communication costs, overheads and depreciation.
  • Submit revenue and P&L figures to the Group through the financial consolidation tool.
  • Provide product performance visibility to business teams through monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Integrate and validate sales and inventory data supplied by concessionaires.
  • Analyse aged receivables and monitor outstanding debts and collections.
  • Prepare and validate financial information for budget presentations.
  • Manage the sales forecasting tool for sell-in and sell-out.
  • Administer and validate the OTB (Open To Buy) tool, ensuring consistency between inventory data and sales targets.
  • Allocate and track product replenishment offers from the métiers and transfers between subsidiaries.
  • Analyse and challenge PES assortments by store.
  • Monitor retail and wholesale commercial KPIs, including sell-through and PES/métier invoicing.
  • Flag stock-out and overstock risks.
  • Recommend corrective actions to optimise inventory.
  • Provide the Travel Retail team with retail price lists for benchmark markets and wholesale prices.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school, in management, or from a university.
  • At least 5 years of successful experience in management control or business analysis; at least 3 years.
  • Perfect command of Excel and databases; experience with BI tools is an asset.
  • Interest in continuous improvement and process optimisation, with the ability to make proposals.
  • Rigour, autonomy, maturity, and strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Team spirit and ability to work with varied stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
