Hermès seeks an experienced Facility Coordinator in Milan to oversee maintenance, systems, and operations across Italian and Greek retail locations and headquarters.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and control the planning, timing, costs, and quality of ordinary maintenance activities
  • Coordinate and evaluate external suppliers' quotations and tender processes
  • Administer budget allocations for facility management across stores, warehouses, and headquarters
  • Ensure proper functioning of technical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire detection and suppression, security, and CCTV
  • Conduct yearly inspections at all facilities and develop five-year maintenance plans for walls, surfaces, and furnishings
  • Manage routine maintenance interventions through coordination of store-based facility ambassadors
  • Oversee extraordinary maintenance interventions and emergency corrective actions following equipment failures or natural events
  • Establish and maintain relationships with security and cleaning service providers to ensure service quality and efficiency
  • Review and manage maintenance and service contracts, identifying potential new suppliers
  • Administer budgets for specialized cleaning services including carpets, curtains, windows, and mosaics
  • Promote continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives, including energy optimization and waste reduction
  • Coordinate Group-level facility projects to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with safety consultants on workplace safety interventions
  • Support Internal Control department with required documentation for audit resolution and stakeholder inspections

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in facility management
  • Technical degree (preferred)
  • Experience in luxury retail environment (preferred)
  • Organized, precise, deadline-oriented, rigorous, reliable and pragmatic mindset
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facility activities' costs and market values
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
