Hermès Cuirs Précieux is seeking an Exotic Division Supply Chain Manager on a permanent, full-time basis to implement supply chain strategy and lead operational transformation across its tanneries. The role oversees end-to-end flows, S&OP, production planning and a four-person headquarters team, while developing supply chain capabilities across three sites.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement the supply chain strategy amid significant transformation, ensuring excellent customer service and optimising tannery planning and material use.
- Lead the execution of the transformation across supply chain processes and tools, working with central supply chain functions and the tanneries.
- Coordinate all flows across the Exotic Division, from customer and material requirements through to finished-skin deliveries.
- Ensure execution of the S&OP process, master production schedule, planning and production scheduling.
- Directly manage a four-person team at headquarters and provide functional leadership to the supply chain managers at the division’s three tanneries.
- Develop supply chain capabilities at the sites as Supply Chain & Operations activities are transformed.
Qualifications
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience in Supply Chain & Operations.
- A strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approach, with a strong customer and results focus.
- Interest in the leather sector and finished products, particularly their technical aspects and materials.
- Ability to understand, analyse and synthesise customer service, planning and material optimisation issues and challenges.
- Ability to handle complex data analyses and planning and performance management tools.
- Comfort working in changing, multicultural and people-intensive environments.
- Interest in team management and the ability to unite, lead and engage a team.
- Influential leadership and a strong ability to mobilise stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.
