Hermès — Enterprise IT Architect in Pantin, France. Permanent role in Group IT architecture to lead SI urbanization and RFI/RFP governance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Advise and support RFI/RFP processes and IT projects from initial scoping through final validation, ensuring architectural coherence and risk assessment.
- Enforce and promote architecture standards, patterns and technical requirements across RFI/RFP responses and project deliverables.
- Participate in design and architecture governance (architecture committees, design reviews), verifying compliance and proposing remediation or justified exceptions.
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and decision‑making across business lines and IT teams to accelerate delivery and reduce time to decision.
- Maintain, enrich and disseminate the architecture repository and standards library; ensure the quality and traceability of architecture reference data.
- Document and preserve architectural decisions and rationale to ensure auditability and continuity.
- Support incident/problem management and provide operational expertise to reduce business impact.
- Operate and ensure the continuity (TMA/MCO) of the Enterprise Architecture team’s tooling and resources.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT, with significant exposure to information system urbanization and enterprise architecture.
- Proven track record as an IT architect or urbanist, including participation in RFI/RFPs and architecture governance.
- Familiarity with cyber‑security regulatory topics and ability to factor security constraints into architecture decisions.
- Experience working in international, multicultural environments.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead and federate teams in both direct and matrix structures.
- Strong analytical, synthesis and initiative skills, with excellent written communication.
- Fluent in French and English (minimum B2 level in each).

At least 10 years of IT experience with a substantial portion dedicated to system urbanization and enterprise architecture; demonstrable experience operating as an IT architect in complex, international organisations.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
