Role & Responsibilities

  • Support employee engagement initiatives within the Talent Development team, including internal communications, recognition programs and staff events.
  • Draft and edit employee-facing copy—announcements, narrative editorials and intranet content—that communicates and celebrates activities across Corporate, Retail and Service Center teams.
  • Maintain and publish content on the local intranet site/app and digital signage system; coordinate with departmental publishers to update and retire pages.
  • Participate in ideation, logistical planning and onsite execution for internal events, including invitations, vendor coordination, catering, décor, setup and breakdown.
  • Assist with administration and execution of recognition programs, such as anniversary and annual awards, and manage digital appreciation board content.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Associate's or Bachelor's), in junior or senior standing, and registered for classes for the duration of the internship.
  • Available to work in-person at Hermès US corporate headquarters in New York City for the full program period (July 13, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
  • Interest in human resources, internal communications or event management, with a demonstrable appreciation for inclusive and diverse perspectives.
  • Strong written communication skills; creative, teachable and a collaborative team player.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and solid time-management capabilities.
  • Technologically competent with proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Experience

Beginners accepted; no prior professional experience is required. Candidates should be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program and demonstrate interest in HR, internal communications or events.
