Hermès EHS Intern, Le Noirmont, Switzerland — 9-month internship in occupational health, safety, and risk management across luxury manufacturing facilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Health & Safety Specialist in deploying workplace risk assessments across both production sites, including inventory, methodology, and risk evaluation
- Update documentation at workstations and maintain the unified risk assessment report
- Develop and monitor action plans in collaboration with workshop supervisors
- Conduct inventory of current PPE in use and assess adequacy relative to identified chemical and mechanical hazards
- Develop and maintain a standardized reference catalog of validated PPE
- Update PPE zoning mapping for the Le Noirmont site as part of expansion project
- Support deployment of the QUARKS chemical risk management tool, working with the Hermès Group Industrial Direction project team
- Ensure operational compliance for chemical risk management, including labeling, safety data sheets, training, and exposure measurement campaigns
- Contribute to health and safety prevention initiatives as requested by the EHS Manager
Qualifications
- Master's degree or engineering school qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (STPS) or equivalent, completed or in progress
- Strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindset
- Excellent listening ability and relational ease
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented approach with ability to propose solutions
Skills
Experience
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree or engineering qualification with specialization in occupational health and safety. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while integrating effectively within a team environment.
Education
Master's degree or engineering school qualification with specialization in Occupational Health & Safety (STPS), completed or in progress.
