Hermès — Manhattan, NY: Manager - eCommerce Operations (Project Management) to lead OMS & SAP S/4 Hana integrations and omnichannel initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead local implementation of centrally developed eCommerce projects related to the Order Management System (OMS), SAP integrations, digital platforms, omnichannel initiatives and WMS adaptations.
  • Drive system optimizations, migrations and upgrades — including SAP S/4 Hana integration — and propose operational UX/UI enhancements to improve data flows between SAP, OMS and client-facing platforms.
  • Ensure accurate data and inventory flows between OMS and WMS, reconcile inventory and sales between ERP and eCommerce platforms, and identify/mitigate system risks and roadblocks.
  • Plan and execute testing, data migration, cutover and Go‑Live activities; facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with central and local stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, lead cross-functional task forces, manage budgets and escalate issues to deliver on time, scope and budget.
  • Produce training and change‑management materials for project rollouts and provide ongoing support for implementation of new services and omnichannel optimizations.
  • QA site for operational defects and outages, report and monitor large-scale site experience incidents, and follow through to resolution.
  • Provide regular KPI reporting on order processing productivity and omnichannel sales, and partner closely with Retail Operations, IT leadership, store teams and distribution centers.
  • Occasional travel to logistics centers and participation in Operations and Digital seminars.

Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in a similar eCommerce operations, OMS or ERP implementation role; experience in luxury retail or high-touch retail environments preferred.
  • Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects; SAP S/4 Hana experience strongly preferred.
  • Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with payment, tax and retail platforms such as Adyen, Checkout.com, Avalara and Cegid.
  • Practical knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) systems and omnichannel logistics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills and experience preparing executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences and work cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge of French is helpful.
