Role & Responsibilities
- Support Client Relations Center with day-to-day back‑office eCommerce customer service operations and scheduling coordination for eCommerce and flagship boutiques.
- Analyze KPIs and operational metrics to produce actionable reports and insights for managers and specialists.
- Monitor open service tickets and returns patterns to identify post‑sale issues and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct research and trend analysis on Hermes.com customer interactions to assist with escalation management.
- Support internal quality assurance protocols and perform competitive benchmarking to identify training gaps.
- Design and execute independent projects that improve operational efficiency or contribute to personal learning objectives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
- Available to work the full Generation H internship period (July 13, 2026 – December 18, 2026); must be able to work in‑person at Hermès US headquarters in New York City.
- Currently enrolled in an academic program or otherwise able to participate in a five‑month internship (Generation H); beginners accepted.
- Previous operations and/or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a polite, professional telephone manner.
- High adaptability, acute attention to detail and strong organizational aptitude.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and support decision making.

Experience
No extensive prior experience required; beginners are accepted. Previous operations or customer service exposure is advantageous and will support faster ramp‑up into reporting and escalation tasks.
Education
Current enrollment in a college or university program is preferred, as the internship is designed to complement academic studies.
