Hermès is recruiting an E-commerce Operations Coordinator for a six-month fixed-term contract in its Paris Operations team. The role supports day-to-day e-commerce operations across risk management, payments, transport, logistics, IT and stock, while monitoring performance, supporting colleagues and coordinating operational improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Operations team in its day-to-day activities across risk management, payments, transport, logistics, IT and stock.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure objectives are met; track team performance and key KPIs, and recommend actions to improve results.
- Gather and analyse operational optimisation needs and propose suitable actions to management.
- Serve as the team's first point of contact for operational questions, procedures and exceptional cases.
- Support new team members' onboarding and skills development; contribute to team morning briefings by sharing best practices and KPI feedback.
- Review case handling in Nova, Passerelle and email, and relay information to Team Managers to support team coaching.
- Help prepare and update team schedules, redistribute daily tasks when needed, and ensure objectives are achieved.
- Provide operational support for complex Passerelle cases and order checks; take direct responsibility for operational processing when required.
- Handle important cases directly with partners, including the CRC, carriers and Digital teams.
- Report exceptional cases, alerts and incidents to management and participate in follow-up committees.
- Recommend actions to improve processes.
Qualifications
- Successful experience in customer service or sales administration, ideally in a high-end environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and team-building abilities.
- Ability to share knowledge, with listening skills and empathy.
- Strong organisational skills, rigour and versatility.
- Commitment and loyalty.
- Curiosity, adaptability in a fast-changing environment, and a proactive approach.
- Fluent English.
- Confidence using IT tools; knowledge of Nova and Cegid is an advantage.
- Interest in a dynamic, international environment where each day is different.
