Hermès is seeking an E-commerce Back Office Coordinator in Paris (9th arrondissement), joining Hermès Distribution Europe’s Operations team to support e-commerce order validation, risk and fraud management, transport, logistics and administration. This full-time, six-month fixed-term contract is scheduled to start in November 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the validation of European e-commerce orders so they can be prepared for dispatch within established deadlines.
- Review each order to identify necessary corrections and specific customer requests.
- Verify payment information.
- Review customers’ purchase histories across the website and boutiques, identify purchasing behaviour that does not align with the Maison’s values and policies, and flag it.
- Leave useful comments for the client service team.
- Suggest improvements to the e-commerce order validation process.
- Prepare transport documents, including manual consignment notes and pro forma documents.
- Handle carrier requests.
- Enter exchange orders and manual returns.
- Respond to boutiques’ order-related requests.
- Provide flexible support across risk and fraud management, transport, logistics and administration as operational priorities and workload require; responsibilities may be adjusted to address daily operational needs.
Qualifications
- Successful experience in customer service or sales administration, ideally in a luxury environment.
- Fluent English and an interest in international environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to bring people together.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enjoys sharing knowledge and demonstrates listening skills and empathy.
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing workloads and priorities.
- Demonstrates commitment and loyalty.

- Highly comfortable with IT tools; knowledge of Cegid is an advantage.
