Hermès — Dayton, NJ: Distribution Systems & Inventory Coordinator. Full‑time hourly role managing WMS sync, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation ($28.46–31.45/hr).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute cycle count schedules; organise, perform and oversee counts with warehouse management and staff and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies across Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce channels; determine corrective system transactions and process necessary transfers to align physical and recorded inventory.
  • Synchronise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with physical movements, ensuring each physical transfer has a corresponding system transaction and audit trail.
  • Track merchandise on loan, follow up on outstanding loans, and process required transfers or return transactions.
  • Coordinate bi‑annual inventories in partnership with Loss Prevention, Sales teams and Distribution Center management; prepare documentation and reporting.
  • Review vendor receiving discrepancies, file claims where appropriate, and create system movements to reconcile receiving errors.
  • Track stock repairs, support invoice accuracy reviews, support supply order entry and maintain document filing related to inventory operations.
  • Analyse count and reconciliation results to identify process improvements and communicate operational challenges (organizational, staffing, technical) to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience; 1–2 years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrable accuracy, accountability and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and courteous verbal and written communication; ability to liaise with Loss Prevention, Sales and Distribution teams.
  • Capacity to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet objectives with limited supervision; ability to perform under pressure.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs following proper safety procedures.
  • Willingness to work overtime and a flexible schedule during peak and holiday periods.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Experience
