Hermès Distribution Services Coordinator in Dayton, NJ—manage orders, inventory, and vendor coordination. Full-time role with $25.46–$28.46/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process incoming order requests from internal and external clients, ensuring accurate entry and timely acknowledgment
  • Monitor daily back-order reports to anticipate and communicate order status and potential delivery delays to assigned clients
  • Review and correct client order confirmations using EDI software, resolving item number discrepancies, unit mismatches, and pricing issues prior to shipment
  • Coordinate with the Dayton distribution center to negotiate order extensions by monitoring order start ship and cancel dates
  • Issue Return Authorizations as requested and approved by the appropriate sales division
  • Prepare Loans and Inventory Transfer System documents for the warehouse to process
  • Generate and review daily department reports including Merchandise On-Hand, Summary of Open Pick Tickets, Back Order Merchandise, and Open BP Receipts
  • Serve as liaison between boutique clients and the distribution center team, communicating client requests and requirements
  • Support inventory control management by assisting with item inventory discrepancies to ensure minimal shrinkage
  • Actively offer clients alternative item selections and recommendations when original requests are unavailable
  • Process stock orders from vendors and confirm purchase orders with estimated delivery times
  • Learn and communicate updates regarding vendor routing guidelines to the shipping department and team members
  • Assist with investigation and documentation for timely resolution and reversal of vendor chargebacks

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in order processing, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • High School Diploma minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with SCALE WMS, Cegid, EDI software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with distribution center operations and vendor management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
