Hermès seeks a Digital Strategy Coordinator in Manhattan to drive eCommerce growth through analytics, merchandising support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive understanding of eCommerce and merchandising functions across multiple divisions and provide analytical support to the Digital Strategy team
- Prepare daily reporting on sales trends, inventory levels, and omnichannel performance metrics with actionable insights to drive eCommerce business objectives
- Generate ad-hoc business review reports and support Digital Strategy leadership with data-driven analysis
- Assist in developing market preparational tools and competitive analyses for the eCommerce buying team ahead of quarterly buying appointments
- Monitor daily product deliveries and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for website highlights and promotional positioning
- Review sales and stock levels across Hermès departments to optimize inventory allocation and enhance online conversion potential
- Collaborate with merchandising, buying, and platform teams to execute product launches, ensure data accuracy, and analyze launch performance metrics
- Support buying team operations including order entry assistance and requested product data edits
- Assist in development and execution of short- and long-term strategic project rollouts with cross-functional alignment
- Compile competitive market analyses on industry best practices, product assortments, and digital retail innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of professional experience in retail merchandising, planning, digital analytics, buying operations, or related eCommerce environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build professional relationships
- Weekend availability required occasionally during peak business periods
- Knowledge of French language is helpful but not required
