Role & Responsibilities

• Implement and operate observability for the CI/CD platform, including deployment and configuration of Prometheus and Dynatrace, metric collection and centralisation, and creation of dashboards and alerting.
• Integrate observability with ITSM workflows: create incidents, implement alert-driven autoremédiation, and ensure actionable escalation paths.
• Analyse collected metrics to measure pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose technical and process improvements to increase delivery velocity and reliability.
• Contribute to the Container Factory initiative: author user guides, publish changelogs, build a public-facing showcase site and execute communication plans to increase adoption across geographic teams.
• Automate container image lifecycle processes, including automating merge requests in application pipelines when updated images address vulnerabilities (e.g., via renovate).
• Collaborate with platform teams working on GitLab, Artifactory, Vault and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform to ensure standardized, secure, signed container images are delivered to global consumers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering programme (Bac+3 or equivalent) and eligible for a 12‑month apprenticeship starting September 2026.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practical familiarity with observability concepts and tooling.
• Practical development skills in Python and Bash for scripting, automation and lightweight backend tasks.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Autonomous, curious and analytical with strong communication skills to interact with cross‑functional technical teams.

Open to beginners; suitable for students at Bac+3 engineering level. No prior professional experience required; practical academic or personal projects in CI/CD, containers or observability are advantageous.

Education

Enrolled engineering student (Bac+3 / third‑year bachelor level) or equivalent, eligible for an apprenticeship contract.
