Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the accounting manager’s deputy and ensure continuity of operations in their absence.
  • Execute and co-sign electronic treasury transfers; support ad hoc treasury projects and promptly flag anomalies or suspicious transactions.
  • Record and validate general ledger entries using SAP, Magnitude, CTU and GEO; ensure the integrity of payroll-related and other core accounting postings.
  • Manage investments accounting (journal entries, amortisation, impairments) and prepare period cut‑offs and provisions during close.
  • Perform reconciliations, analyse variances, recommend corrective actions and drive process improvements with operational teams.
  • Produce Magnitude reporting and contribute to the formalisation of accounting compliance controls via GEO.
  • Prepare statutory and management tax deliverables (VAT, liasses, tax forms such as Taxe DEFI, C3S, Crédit Impôt Mécénat) and establish taxable results in coordination with the tax department.
  • Support audit activities by applying audit methodologies, drafting operational procedures and training new entrants.
  • Ensure adherence to group close timetables, daily controls and internal procedures; comply with workplace regulations and security rules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bac+3; Bac+5 or professional accounting qualifications preferred (DCG, DSCG, MSTCF or equivalent).
  • At least 6 years’ progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, treasury and tax reporting.
  • Proven knowledge of French accounting and tax rules and audit methodologies.
  • Strong organisational rigour, accuracy and a methodical approach to month‑end and fiscal deliverables.
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience collaborating across operations, HR and controlling functions.

Experience

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles, with demonstrated responsibility for general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, treasury operations and tax reporting in a multi‑entity environment.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications (DCG, DSCG, MSTCF).
