Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all departmental activities in partnership with Store Manager, driving sales targets through team leadership and strategic business planning
- Lead and develop team members through daily coaching, feedback, and formal performance appraisals; identify training needs and propose development plans
- Recruit and onboard new team members, ensuring full integration and adherence to Hermès culture and values
- Foster clienteling culture within the team, supporting client discovery, loyalty initiatives, and best practices in client relationship management
- Plan and conduct morning briefings to ensure team preparation and alignment on daily objectives
- Support store management in floor coverage organization, supervision, and process improvements in collaboration with operations
- Develop and execute departmental buying strategy based on performance analysis, market trends, customer feedback, and product knowledge
- Monitor business performance indicators, conduct performance analysis, and develop action plans to meet sales targets
- Coach team members on data accuracy, client reachability, and compliance with privacy and company guidelines
- Collaborate with visual merchandising to enhance in-store experience and suggest commercial initiatives based on market insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in hospitality or fashion management
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in retail management
- Strong career background in international and luxury fashion retail
- Fluency in Italian and English; third language is an advantage
- Proficient with Excel and IT tools
- Exemplary application of procedures and presence on the sales floor
- Charismatic and commanding presence with ability to lead and motivate teams
- Strong analytical skills and strategic planning capability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customer service orientation

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in retail management, with strong career progression in international and luxury fashion retail environments. Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, sales strategy development, and boutique operations management.
Education

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 57,000 per annum.
