Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead product vision and strategy for analytics and AI solutions within the Retail vertical, ensuring alignment with enterprise data transformation objectives
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize high-impact business problems through structured engagement with retail stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap balancing innovation, continuous improvement, and industrialization requirements
  • Define product objectives, business value KPIs, and adoption metrics; track performance against established benchmarks
  • Animate and manage product backlogs; draft user stories in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary squads comprising Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers
  • Oversee testing, business validation, and production deployment phases; ensure alignment with architecture, security, privacy, and Data Foundation teams
  • Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all data products
  • Lead incident management and post-mortem analyses for production incidents
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality assurance mechanisms to guarantee reliability and accuracy
  • Track AI model performance including drift detection, explainability, retraining requirements, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, AI Act)
  • Measure business impact of deployed solutions; communicate results to stakeholders and sponsors
  • Facilitate business adoption of analytics tools and data-driven practices through training and change management
  • Host governance forums including sprint reviews, roadmap reviews, and value assessment sessions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Product Management or Product Ownership for data, analytics, or AI products
  • Proven track record managing production data products with performance, reliability, and adoption objectives
  • Proficiency in Agile environments and operational run management (SLA/SLO, incident response, ITIL)
  • Strong understanding of business context and retail dynamics
  • Solid data culture foundation: data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud architectures
  • Competency with analytics and AI concepts: machine learning, MLOps, performance metrics, explainability
  • Technical acumen to challenge data models, APIs, SQL, and functional testing approaches
  • Awareness of data governance and AI ethics regulations including GDPR and the EU AI Act
