Hermès Sellier (Pantin) seeks a Contract Data Manager to lead product data governance and MDM/PLM initiatives for the Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and drive data governance and the Data roadmap for the Pôle Maison, ensuring consistent application across Hermès Maison, Compagnie des Arts de la Table et de l’Email, Beyrand and Puiforcat.
- Serve as the functional data expert and single-point reference: master the product data model, manage creation/modification/deletion workflows, and resolve data/interface incidents with technical teams.
- Design, deploy and operate data quality controls and monitoring across MDM, ERP and PLM systems; define and publish KPIs and quality indicators to stakeholders.
- Lead and support data-related streams in transformation projects: RACI, planning, functional validation of interfaces, data migration, acceptance testing and BI/reporting rollouts.
- Document and maintain the data governance framework (data dictionary, business rules, procedures), deliver training to operational teams and ensure adoption of data standards.
- Structure and onboard 'off-system' data into target tools when relevant; run annual data housekeeping exercises (eg. deactivating obsolete article references).
Qualifications
- Higher education degree (university, business school or engineering school).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data management and in projects of transformation related to master/reference data.
- Solid knowledge of information systems; advanced Excel skills required.
- Familiarity with ERP, PLM and BI tools; PowerBI and M3 knowledge are strong advantages.
- Strong pedagogical aptitude, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical rigor, synthesis and formalization capabilities; adaptable to a complex, fast-evolving luxury environment.

Experience
Minimum 2 years in data management roles and in executing transformation projects related to product/master data; experience within retail, luxury or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
Education
University degree, business school diploma or engineering degree.
