Hermès Sellier in Bobigny seeks a Data Manager (fixed‑term) to lead data governance and BI for Central Supply & After‑Sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the functional data expert and referent for Central Supply & After‑Sales domains (After‑Sales, Customs, Distribution Planning, Retail Planning, Transport, Import/Export).
- Define and pilot operational data management processes (creation, modification, deletion) ensuring quality, integrity and compliance of datasets.
- Conduct data audits, implement corrective action plans and supervise continuous improvement of data quality (coherence, completeness, freshness).
- Develop and evolve BI reporting and dashboards in coordination with a data analyst to answer operational and strategic needs.
- Represent Hermès Commercial within Group Data governance bodies and relay Data Groupe initiatives (Datamap, DataCatalog, data model) to the entity.
- Translate business requirements to IT project teams: attend key workshops, mobilize key users and validate deliverables on scope.
- Lead change management: produce training materials, deployment documentation and ensure solution adoption across business teams.
- Manage and coach the Data / BI team (data analyst, data management assistant, consultants): allocate tasks, recruit, train and develop talent.
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school or engineering school (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience including data management and transformation projects.
- Proven experience in data governance, data quality frameworks and BI reporting delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small multidisciplinary team and drive cross‑functional projects.
- Strong analytical rigor, problem‑solving orientation and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.

At least 5 years of experience with demonstrable exposure to data management, BI/reporting and transformation projects; prior responsibility for data governance or supervising a data team is expected.
Education
Degree from a business school or an engineering school (or equivalent).
