Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as group steward for Finished Product data (approx. 40%): ensure coverage of local and cross‑functional product data needs, maintain coherence of the group business glossary and identify data owners and custodians.
  • Support operational Data Managers through functional accompaniment to secure data quality and the correct use of finished product data in Group projects (analytics, ERP/IT redesign), including implementation of monitoring and local monitoring roll‑outs.
  • Synthesize and formalize data roadmaps and business needs from operational directions to align priorities and deployment plans.
  • Ensure accessibility and dissemination of functional knowledge across HDTI teams, notably the Data Office & Services (DOS).
  • Coordinate and acculturate local relays on data governance topics (run monthly governance committees, produce newsletters and communications).
  • Accompany deployment of Group data governance initiatives (approx. 60%): support rollout of the Group Data Catalog (functional stewardship, prioritisation of use cases, roadmap definition and follow‑up of business deployments).
  • Support cross‑domain/transversal projects to ensure adoption of Group data governance standards (complete documentation, common vocabulary, robust definitions and calculation rules, owner identification).

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent graduate diploma.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in data governance roles within operational functions.
  • Familiarity with Hermès organisation or comparable luxury retail/production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross‑functional stakeholder management and transverse team animation.

Experience
