Hermès Sellier — Pantin: Data Catalog Assistant (Internship, 6 months from July 2026) supporting data governance and data catalogue initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, enrichment and maintenance of the division’s data catalog, ensuring consistent definitions, structures and usage documentation.
- Collaborate with business data correspondents and IT stakeholders to formalize metadata and record data lineage in a single authoritative repository.
- Ensure accuracy and currency of catalog entries and participate in governance forums to track catalog progress and deliverables.
- Produce clear presentation materials and documentation to translate data mapping and metadata for non‑technical audiences.
- Support user onboarding and training on new tools and methodologies; document best practices and propose process improvements for data governance.
- Undertake occasional data quality analyses and other ad hoc tasks related to divisional SI transformation projects.
Qualifications
- Current student in an engineering school, business school or university programme with a specialization in Data Management, Big Data or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical ability with capacity to synthesize complex information; demonstrated rigor and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and pedagogical skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and facilitate adoption of data practices.
- Curious, proactive and team‑oriented; motivated by a formative, project‑based internship in a transformational IT context.

Designed for current students; no minimum professional experience required. Prior academic or project exposure to data management, metadata modelling or data governance is advantageous.
