Hermès is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for its Data & Performance team in Paris, starting January 2027 for a six-month full-time internship. The intern will analyse e-commerce performance, contribute to dashboards and reporting, and help deliver data solutions with Digital teams, business functions and international subsidiaries.
Role & Responsibilities
- Explore analytics engineering fundamentals with dbt, including data modelling and transformation.
- Query the Hermès Data Warehouse with SQL to analyse hermes.com performance across sales, traffic, customer journeys, acquisition and retention.
- Contribute insights and reporting to support decision-making by business teams and subsidiaries.
- Help design, develop and update clear, effective dashboards in Data Studio.
- Contribute to the reliability and freshness of tracked KPIs.
- Consult users to understand their needs and adapt dashboards to business priorities.
- Work closely with Digital teams, business functions and subsidiaries to help them use data in their day-to-day work.
- Participate in discussions with international stakeholders in a fully agile environment.
- Co-develop high-value data solutions with the team on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bac+4/Bac+5 degree at an engineering school, or a Master's degree in Big Data, Mathematics, Statistics or an equivalent field; seeking an internship from January 2027.
- Able to write SQL queries and has initial knowledge of a BI or data visualisation tool.
- Comfortable communicating in English, both orally and in writing, and interested in working in an international, demanding environment.
- Curious and committed to high-quality work, with an interest in developing data expertise in an ambitious e-commerce context.
- Knowledge of Python, Machine Learning or Web Analytics is an advantage.
